Pumpkin Lollipop Holder

Ok, first fall craft and it's really easy! A dear friend of mine showed me this Martha Stewart craft several years ago. I'm sure many of you have seen it before. My friend made a big one for her husbands work office. Cute idea! I did mine on a smaller scale though.

Really simple. Take a fake pumpkin, like the one's Michael's sells:

Get a pack of your favorite lollipops (I like a variety), grab your trusty power drill:

Install a bit that is the same size of the lollipop stick and drill holes into the pumpkin. I used 1/8". You can be random or drill holes in a pattern... completely up to you! This one is random. Martha Stewart's, of course, isn't :). Visit her tutorial if you want to do it more uniform.

You could paint or embellish your pumpkin at this point if you wanted. Then stick in the lollipops and you have a cute way to serve candy!

I am so excited that you're linking this to my Fall Craft Challenge...I saw your link on Jane Deere and hopped over to beg you to link up with me, and you already did! :) My son would flip for this; lollipops and pumpkins are two of his faaavorite things! I see this in our near future. :)
Thanks for sharing!

I so missed this on Martha Stewart. I'm completely enthralled though and I can't wait to try it out!! This would be perfect for my son's fall festival class pumpkin. :)

Thanks for the inspiration.
