Ritz S'mores

I got this recipe from one of my cousins. It was a go-to treat in their home when they were gowing up. Perfect for Family Home Evening, or when your daughter forgets to tell you she's supposed to bring a refreshment to wherever she's going to in an hour. Not that that's ever happened. The ingredients many of us generally have on hand so I asked if I could share it with you.

Ingredients:
Ritz crackers
Peanut butter
mini marshmallows
chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 225°.
Spread peanut butter on desired number of Ritz crackers and pace them on a baking sheet.

Top each cracker with 3 marshmallows and 3 or 4 chocolate chips.

Put baking sheet in preheated oven for 6 minutes, or until marshmallows have puffed up.
Then turn the broiler on and broil for about 2-3 minutes, or until marshmallow tops have browned.

Remove from oven and carefully enjoy immediately or wait a few minutes for it to cool.  Also good cold but best warm!

I tried a batch in a 350° oven for 4 minutes, then broiled for 90 seconds and it worked just as well.

Enjoy!

Looks yummy! Have you ever put peanut butter between two Ritz crackers then dipped it in melted chocolate? Tastes like those Girl Scout cookies.

How cool to see this - We used to do this when we were kids. Usually in the microwave...but SO much better in the oven. We never did the chocolate chips though - What a cool idea!
