Christmas Party

I know, Christmas is long gone but I finally had time to edit the pictures from the party I decorated for. The decorating committee was me and another lady.

The theme for the night was "The Gifts of Christmas" and the party planning committee wanted it to be festive but not detract from the true meaning of Christmas. So here's what we came up with...

As people entered the cultural hall, they were welcomed by a simple nativity scene.

Showed you the frame here. The printable scripture tree I got here.
We had 24 tables set up for the guests (plus an extra one in the overflow room, just in case).

Full house!
Part of the evening was a service project. The ward put together gifts (basic necessities) for the Open Door Mission prior to coming to the party and as people arrived with them, the gifts were placed under these trees.

And I showed you the napkin wraps here.

Alternated the table runners (Dollar Tree!) on the diagonal to make it easier on me so that not too much time was spent lining up all the runners in a straight line. Plus the chevron look is in right now :)

So that took the bulk of my time the first half of December, but it was a lot of fun to do. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
